• Learning about the local marine ecosystems in the area. • While we can't guarantee spotting a specific animal, we will observe some sort of local wildlife on every tour. • All guests will be on their own 100% CLEAR PADDLE BOARD or CLEAR KAYAK. • Each group will be accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide. • The group size will always stay small and intimate (no more than 10 guests per tour). • Be prepared for a unforgettable experience!
Children are allowed on our tours but will be required to wear a lifejacket at all times while we are on the water. Ecoventure Tours will supply life jackets for children between 30-90lbs. All children smaller than 30lbs will need to bring their own life jacket as smaller children need more specific sizes to ensure proper safety.
The load capacity for our clear kayaks is 425lbs MAX (192kg). With our clear kayaks, they are intended to seat 2 guests. This means that the total combined weight of both guests can not exceed the 425lbs weight limit. No more than 250lbs per seat. For your safety we will be required to make reasonable accommodations for those that want to paddle and may exceed the load capacity.
As long as it is not lightning out, and it is safe to paddle, we will still proceed with the tour. We will only cancel a tour if the weather is unsafe to paddle, in which case we will either issue a full refund or rebook you for another date. All tour cancelations will be decided by Ecoventure Tours.
This depends on which tour location you choose. As of now, swimming is not permitted at Silver Springs and our 100% CLEAR KAYAKS give you views under the water just as good as having a mask and snorkel on! Our Rainbow Springs location we will be able to get out and enjoy the water! A mask and snorkel is encouraged for the Rainbow Springs location!
